GUIDE — How to Use Instant Ruler

Quick Start Guide

1. Calibrate for True 1:1 Size

Click Calibrate in the top bar, or use the Credit Card tool for physical card matching.

2. Guide Lines (follow cursor, click to pin)

Press G to enable guidelines that follow your cursor. Click anywhere to pin a permanent crosshair at that position. Double-click a pinned guide to remove it.

3. New High-Precision Floating Ruler

Press R or click the ruler icon to open the draggable physical ruler. Rotate by dragging the center circular compass, click angle buttons (0°, 45°, 90°), and resize from both ends.

4. Edge Controls

Use the Edges buttons in the top navbar next to Tools to toggle Top, Bottom, Left, and Right rulers on and off anytime.
