2. Metrological Accuracy & Liability Disclaimer
Instant Ruler provides screen-based measurement utilities intended for general consumer, hobbyist, architectural drafting reference, and educational estimation purposes.
- Our tools are not certified for statutory metrology, legal trade compliance, medical diagnostic procedures, aerospace manufacturing, or precision structural engineering.
- Measurement accuracy depends on accurate user calibration, physical reference accuracy, hardware display aspect ratios, and browser rendering engines.
- For mission-critical or commercial engineering tasks, always verify dimensions with laboratory-calibrated physical instruments (such as vernier calipers or micrometer gauges).
3. Permitted and Prohibited Uses
You are granted a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to utilize the tools available on Instant Ruler in accordance with these Terms.
You may:

- Print unlimited copies of the printable ruler PDF templates for physical use in classrooms, workshops, or job sites.
You may not:
- Systematically scrape, mirror, or republish the proprietary web applications or vector templates for commercial redistribution without written authorization.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the technical infrastructure of the website.
4. Intellectual Property
All custom graphics, source code, interactive canvas drawing algorithms, user interface designs, and printable templates are the intellectual property of Instant Ruler and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and unfair competition laws.
